Our Story

It all started in 2005. My son was turning 1 and of course a celebration had to be held but trying to find matching partyware? Impossible. How could I throw a party when I couldn't even find somewhere to buy decorations?

After searching locally and searching the internet I finally found one online shop and managed to celebrate my son's birthday in style. But that is when it struck me, how few shops actually provide all you need for a party - from tableware to wall decorations to balloons dotted around a room - and that I wanted a shop which could do all of that and more.

Being a mother with a full time job, opening a shop on a whim was not an option so instead I focused on my family and friend's parties. Any opportunity I could, I would practise creating displays and decorating rooms to make all of their events look extra special. Over time I got better and better at making big and small displays with balloons, taking courses and watching tutorials to inspire more fun designs.

Seven years later, in 2012, I finally took the plunge and opened my own shop in Sundon Park, my childhood home. Starting out with a limited number of products and a small customer base for event set-ups, it has been a years long process of expanding what I can provide in-store and out of store.

Since opening, I've been privileged to watch my customers go through many special events in their lives and provide for their weddings, baby showers, graduations. Now almost twenty years later, I am very proud to say that I can be the shop that helps a parent celebrate their child's first birthday (whether it be big or small) and make it as special as their baby is to them.
